Joyful Treats Community Development Corporations (JTCDC) is a minority owned national tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization in Southeastern Michigan. Our signature mission, "Celebrations", is our hospitality leadership pathway to create financial empowerment for entrepreneurs aged 15 and 25.
It is our hope that by offering these courses, we can improve the landscape of the community and provide a meaningful Workforce Development program that allows the program participants to develop skills in the food and hospitality industry as owners of their business, or in highly skilled positions which offer a higher wage along with the opportunity to create a better life for themselves as well as their families.
JTCDC's wraparound services include our food pantry outreach, which has aligned its humanitarian efforts in the fight against hunger disparities. Our annual community impact of food distribution is the equivalent to 37,000 meals to our community members. Additionally, we offer the community a robust level of wraparound services, such as: financial stipends, community-based education and household distributions.
