We serve a diverse segment of the population who are the most vulnerable in our society as well as the most adversely impacted by the effects of various consequences present within our community.
Trailblazing in global hospitality, Celebrations is known for its Diversity, Equity & Inclusion programming.
Our targeted audience is 15–25-year-old upcoming food entrepreneurs. We invite corporate partners, school administrators,
small business owners and individuals to align with our DEI partnerships.
Participants final outcome will provide entrepreneurs with a sustainable business and economic empowerment.
Our Non-Profit, Joyful Treats Community Development Corporation (501.c.3) was established in part to address systemic oppression in the food & hospitality industry based on race, class, gender, ethnicities or other human self-identification classifications. Injustice and learning to overcome it is a lifelong process. Our organization values and practices the pursuit of knowledge through education of Cultures of the World with sharing of food, relationships, communication and respect of our differences while interacting with the World we all live in. Education is the key to change the mindset of anti-oppressive practices by the creation of continuous deliberations with critical and reflective questions, analyzing relevant data collected and engaging the community on-going dialogue to enhance our growth.

In this certificate program, you will learn crucial guidelines and realistic, step-by-step methods for running a food operation and starting a business as a foodpreneur. You will develop new knowledge and be given the skills to turn your passion for cooking into a professional career or your own business. Students will learn by reading, writing, observing, listening, doing, discussing, analyzing, synthesizing, reflecting and evaluating.
This certificate course has been created to meet high academic standards, which ensures that employers can have confidence that the certificate holder has completed the prescribed course of study.
